Hey cat lovers! Lucy here, and I’m absolutely thrilled to share some amazing transformations with you today. You know those moments when your cat does something perfectly them and you wish you could capture that essence forever? Well, that’s exactly what happens in my little art studio, where I turn your precious cat photos into artwork that captures their unique personality and spirit.

Meet Our Latest Furry Art Stars

Oliver: The Gentle Giant of Chicago

Oh my goodness, when Mike sent me Oliver’s photo, I immediately fell in love with those big, soulful eyes! This 16-pound sweetheart (he’s actually about the same size as my Milo!) spends his days being the world’s most dedicated bird-watcher from his favorite windowsill. I made sure to capture that peaceful, regal energy in his portrait – those soft, gentle eyes that Mike fell in love with at the rescue four years ago.

Pepper: The Unstoppable Force of Joy

When the Thompson family sent me Pepper’s photos, I had to laugh – after years of trying to photograph my own energetic Luna, I know exactly how challenging it is to catch those playful kitties in focus! But you know what? Those slightly blurry action shots actually helped me capture her true spirit. This backyard-stray-turned-family-treasure from Denver literally radiates joy in every reference photo. I transformed that energy into artwork that shows her mid-play, whiskers forward, ready for her next adventure!

Sushi: Portland’s Cozy Queen

James’s Siamese mix Sushi basically wrote her own artistic brief with her lifestyle choices! Every photo showed her claiming another soft spot in the apartment (reminds me so much of my Cleo’s blanket-stealing ways!). I knew I had to capture that signature Siamese elegance combined with her absolute mastery of relaxation. The result? A portrait that practically makes you want to curl up with a good book yourself!

Let Me Transform Your Cat’s Photo!

Want to see your own feline friend transformed into a unique piece of art? I promise you, every cat has their special something that deserves to be captured. Don’t worry about taking the “perfect” photo – some of my most magical transformations came from candid shots that truly showed each cat’s personality!

Ready to get started? Here’s what to do: Send your favorite photo to [email protected] with “Draw my cat” in the subject line. Include their story:

  • Name (and any silly nicknames!)
  • Age (best guess is fine for rescue cats)
  • Where they call home
  • A fun fact that makes them uniquely them

And please, don’t stress about photo quality! After years of trying to photograph both my own cats and my fosters, I know the struggles of catching them in the perfect moment. Whether it’s a slightly blurry action shot of your playful kitten or a dim evening photo of your senior cat in their favorite napping spot – I can work with it all. What matters most is capturing that special spark that makes your cat uniquely themselves.

Whiskers and warm wishes,
Lucy

P.S. That “perfect” photo you’ve been waiting to capture? Sometimes the most touching art comes from those spontaneous, real-life moments!
